@noelrap your call as to whether it's worth the effort to update, of course. Just wanted to make sure you were aware 👍

@noelrap FYI this post seems to have "share" and "subscribe" links turned into plain text noelrappin.com/blog/2020/06/wh

A thought on the limitations of TDD:

TDD is a technique for helping highly-motivated developers write good software. (Note: I am not saying that if you don't use TDD you aren't highly-motivated. *A* technique.)

However, TDD is not a technique for helping developers be highly-motivated, or for helping non-highly-motivated developers write good software.

Here's a blog post by @noelrap with some similarities to this: noelrappin.com/blog/2021/05/en

@noelrap I'm ramping up for a client that's using , and I got to go through your Front-End book again. It's such a great and straightforward introduction to those technologies! Thanks for writing it.

@noelrap @Cdespinosa when your post mentioned Apple educational research, I thought of this book I read recently. They worked in education but it's about the multimedia lab that closed around 92. Possible you may have worked with someone mentioned, and it has interesting :hypercard: HyperCard history. amazon.com/learn-different-Des

@darius @janellecshane one time i was collaborating with our head of design about chatbot interfaces. and we decided to set aside implementation and learn how folks would interact with a chatbot when it was maximally human. so i was the chatbot for the day. i would field any movie question that my coworkers had.

it occurs to me i never asked the head of design if she wrote up any findings from that 🤔 but it was fun!
