@Janetgunter Indeed my list is not exactly what you asked for. In my experience an unwritten process tends to be undemocratic. OTOH, if you write down your processes, suddenly you have the bylaws of an association. In some jurisdictions it's immediately active as such even if unregistered.

Concretely, when it comes to managing a website, if the domain name is registered in the name of an individual, that person has veto power on everything. Any process will break down at the first disagreement.

@nemobis Agree with most of what you say, however I know from personal experience sometimes it takes time for structure to emerge. If there is an intent for shared governance, if even in development, I am still interested.
