@Woodknot @EU_Commission A while back it looked like a true #brexshit benefit was the collapse of the British car industry:

* fewer cars means less pollution
* fewer cars means less congestion
* those who can no longer afford cars will gain the health benefits from walking and cycling

but I don't know how well this has lasted.
