My dryer has a setting for various levels of dryness:. Damp, Less, Normal, More, and Very.

Why does any setting other than "Very" exist? The whole point of a clothes dryer is to DRY CLOTHES.

And why does it default to NORMAL? Normal isn't as dry as possible??
