@ariadne @pixelfed you would have to upload and share your number to be associated, that being said, an opt out mechanism would be ideal right? We could use the discover flag that mastodon uses

@dansup @pixelfed i would say that you should "opt in" to participating in such a scheme, not "opt out."

doing this by default seems like something facebook would do.
