Anyone else noticing that the iPhone 15 pro is frustratingly slippery in an all-new way? Becky and I will leave it face down on a flat desk and after 10 or 15 minutes it’ll find a way to crash onto the floor.

It’s happened so many times I re-leveled the desk (was actually slanted the other way) and checked for seismic activity (none). What gives?

@searls it’s happening to my 13 Mini as well! I think it must be due to a software update.

@searls I use a MagSafe ring on the back of mine to allow it to rest face-up without the cameras touching anything

@searls I just had to take mine in for a back glass replacement and I believe @film_girl did the same.

I wonder if the titanium is more slippery than aluminum, or if they're on par and we're just spoiled by the extra tacky feel the stainless steel of the previous generations had.

That stainless steel sure felt more premium to my hands, and I didn't even mind the extra heft.
