The CDN wasn't working right, but my attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. I made a configuration mistake involving DNS, which unfortunately means that images are broken until DNS updates everywhere. I am very sorry about this

Well Eugen Rochko, the first thing is, there is no shame to say you made a mistake and that makes you different from some others.
Second, DNS is always a hell of a job. Is there someone who can say 'I didn't make any mistake with DNS in my whole career?.
