What unites 20 countries and about 350 million people?

Our single currency, the euro.

The euro has contributed to stability and prosperity in Europe and made it even easier to live, work and travel abroad.

It is a symbol of unity and connection, of the strength that comes from working together โ€“ an achievement we should all be proud of.

You can find out more about the euro on our website: europa.eu/!ku8drw

@EU_Commission This is in my eyes simply wrong. Europe is not founded on a currency. It is founded on enlightenment and tolerance. The currency only is a good way to make it easier to live together.

@EU_Commission "The euro has contributed to stability and prosperity in Europe" lmfaooooo!!! I don't know if it's sadder to knowingly tell such base lies or to actually believe your own bullshit like this.

@EU_Commission I remember when taking a trip through France and Belgium to Germany needed multiple foreign currencies. So much easier to travel between Euro zone countries.

I also remember that before the Gammons got uppity I had the right of freedom to travel in the EU.

Yes I know project Leave won the referendum and I'm over it.

I still hate Thatcher!
