@EU_Commission Poor timing considering public discourse surrounding various Middle Eastern countries aside, this is simply poorly worded. This post is at best a reductionist take on claiming to stand for non-discriminatory practices. To claim that "tolerance encompases more than mere indifference" is to ignore the myriad of bigots over the years decrying "so much for tolerance" whenever they espouse their discriminatory worldview, as well as how mere tolerance is useless while actively opressed.
