@EU_Commission And bigger actions make a much larger difference to our planet. How about you turn on all the lights and instead use your power to govern: start turning off the lights of the global fossil fuel industry.

It's time for the bigger players, like our European institutions, to stop doing the symbolic little actions and instead use their agency to propel us towards real change.

@EU_Commission Looking out of my window I can clearly see nobody in #vienna #austria really cares about #earthday … 🇦🇹

Like the government doesn’t care about #climatechange .

@EU_Commission Maybe, but big actions against big corporations are what's actually going to save us.

@EU_Commission This is insulting. You already know why.

@EU_Commission I will keep my lights on, thank you very much. The enviromentalist bloc has been the biggest advocate for authoritarianism, poverty and making the transition to more efficient energy sources like nuclear, geothermal, hydroelectric, gasoline/diesel/propane/kerosene/jp-4, (for cars, cooking and transportation only, not for power grids) and home generators off the table. They have consistently adopted luxury beliefs yet they do not have to suffer the results, energy gets more expensive whenever they score a victory and they fight tooth and nail to keep developing countries poor by stifling their advancement along their tech trees to more efficient fuels like I have listed above and they rationalize the horrid human rights abuses present in the electrical vehicle industry, namely the mining of the lithium and cobalt needed for electric cars and excuse that their pet projects make cars more expensive for everyone. The EU is not a democracy, it is a superstate run by bureaucrats that does not have to answer to its people and has fought against the people of its member states when they vote for something the eurocrats don't like.

@EU_Commission Or, you could really make a difference and turn off the lights EVERY night, when the building is not in use.
