Uploads may appear to not be working on mastodon.social as of right now because the processing queue is delayed by 12 minutes. The file does get uploaded but the processing happens only 12 minutes later. The delay is caused by the workload of restoring home feeds of people who've come back after a long absence.

@Gargron NOT being a jerk here, but is this intrinsic to the way Mastodon (archives?) the home feeds? Or do you mean "refreshing" the home feeds of those who haven't visited in awhile.

@Gargron the publish button is deactivated when I select a photo on iOS app. Text only is working just fine. Is that the same bug?

@Gargron on mastodon.nl we had similar issues on Saturday. Had to increase sidekiq concurrency and postgres connections to fix it.
