Thank God I don't live in a less-free country, where shit like "essential medicine" is paid for by my taxes. I'm proud to shell out over $500 a month for something my wife would die without. And while we're waiting three and a half months for the next time the neurologist has an appointment available, I can Thank God again that my taxes didn't pay for someone whose lifestyle I don't approve of to get gender affirming care.
