@dansup I'm aware of perhaps 10% of the complexity of what I'm describing, and that's already staggering, so I'm not trying to make light of anything that's already been done

@bovaz It sounds like you are describing ActivityPub c2s (client to server)

Ideally you would be able to use your client with any server/fediverse software, but few AP projects support that and with good reasons (it's complicated)
