I thought the implication of the toot was the expanded search that all the birdsite-fans were asking for, given that he's caving on quote-posts too? Sorry if I have that wrong. (And sorry for bothering you TBH: I have a huge respect for your work and what you've achieved with hometown, I don't want to cause problems).

@dheadshot @RL_Dane I just don't know where the implication comes from.
(Also I think quote posts are great and I had been planning to implement them in Hometown if Mastodon wasn't going to.)
And it's not a bother, I'm just confused as to where these interpretations come from!
