@65dBnoise i don't remember having seen such clear patterns from the bit on other abrasions. Hasn't it been "cleaned" or is it just me having paid too little attention to it before?

Maybe the very first ones were like that too. The bit looks brand new and unused, so they may have mounted the 2nd one for this abrasion. Cleaning with the gDRT is automatic with each abrasion, unless it is aborted, I guess.
