@dansup Because the picture I have of the fediverse is more "town"-like than the silos that meta and those other guys built, and I would like Identity to work likewise. Wherever I walk, I identify myself as myself, with all that entails, and there's very little doubt I'm me. I wish there was a digital parallel, and I feel the fediverse is the right place for it.
