@blogdiva just FYI, the hour-to-render problem is probably just because queues are backed up on mastodon.social, and rendering previews is one of the lower priority items in the queue so the most likely to be put off in favor of other actions. I imagine that on a huge server like that, embed rendering could easily take an hour
