If you could play them at 33rpm and digitize, then speed it up in software, that would be like 2x oversampling! 🙂

That's a good way to do it!. I have already digitized them, long long time ago :) They are records I used to play with when I was a kid, and when the time comes will leave them to my son (who has no interest in them 😄) to, er, throw them away, I guess.
