@feditips I don't see the point of these buttons other than as a way to track users, since they provide anything copy/paste doesn't do already. Given that, I would expect commercial users of the Fediverse to start introducing them as soon as it's big enough for them to start tracking.

Meanwhile, I've seen more "reply on Mastodon" solutions on blogs and such so far, and those do have a legitimate purpose, in keeping answers to a particular article in the same comment hierarchy.
