It may seem odd, but I have no problem recommending @PixelDroid over the official android app

I'll never forget how they shipped the first @pixelfed app and remained dedicated to it over the years!

They've helped identify and fix several mastoApi issues and overall have been a pleasure to work with.

So amazing to be a part of this community, and Pixelfed really owes a lot to the pioneering work of @PixelDroid ❤️

@dansup YES! Your success will be when native apps succeed and create a momentum that you never could on your own. It's great that you provide a reference implementation, but it's also great if you can focus on building an awesome platform for apps to innovate on.
