@Gargron as a vanity instance admin, I'm happy to beta test 4.0 to see if it the 'verse can happily run with 3.5 and 4.0 instances at the same time.

The change log didn't really show any API changes that'd affect intra-server conversations, but I wasn't looking too hard for them (:
