The web version and the many apps made for Mastodon are somewhat frustrating to use.

The web version always shows the full profile with all the posts, but it's not easy to reply to posts or follow users that are on another instance.

In the apps, it's the other way around. Profiles and posts are not fully loaded, but it's easier to reply and follow.

I've discovered the browser extension Graze (social.jaredzimmerman.com/@jar) that at least makes following, boosting and favoriting easier.

Do you mean if you're viewing an "original page" hosted by another server?

Graze is a closed source extension so it's impossible to know for sure what it does with people's info.

I would prefer FediAct which is open source:
