@IgnisIncendio the integration between #Lemmy and microblogging apps is not on the entirety of features that Lemmy offers. If you want to host a community or create new posts, then you need a Lemmy account.

The accounts / identity on the #Fediverse are one of its weak spots. You get 'split personality disorder'. My lemmy alter ego is at @humanetech@lemmy.ml and there may be a ton of those for each person.

There's been #NomadicIdentity for years in some apps, but it has never found broader adoption.
