The iPhone/iPad version of the official Mastodon app had an update last week which includes the Bookmarks feature. These let you save interesting posts to read later.

To bookmark a post on apps or web, click ⋯ and then click "Bookmark" (or just 🔖 ).

To view bookmarks on apps, click profile picture to go to your profile page, then click 🔖 or "Bookmarks".

To view bookmarks on web, click 🔖 or "Bookmarks" on right of screen.

@feditips I admit, I did not know this… thanks for sharing. This could use some UI/UX love though, this current implementation isn’t very intuitive.

@feditips The iOS app still has a ways to go, but being able to bookmark is a godsend.

@feditips I just noticed that in landscape mode on the iPad officially Mastodon app, if I search for a person and they turn up in the right hand sidebar, there doesn't seem to be (an obvious) way to open that profile up in the main part of the app.

Seems pretty annoying.

@feditips Good to know! Bookmarks are the main reason I'm using Tusky instead of the official Android app. I hope the feature gets here too eventually
