@VictorVenema @Ruth_Mottram I agree with what Victor says, I switched to R a while back for similar considerations. Of course it doesn’t matter hugely, as the joke goes, I can write fortran in any language. Depends on your usage of course, but I’m assuming data processing and analysis rather than serious HPC stuff.
