@EU_Commission Hope you enjoy those 30 Silver coins you've got from Spotify.

Another proof that whoever on your administration is in charge of this, has no clue about digital markets or what you're doing.

@EU_Commission sadly, 1.8 billion is just cost of doing business for them.

@EU_Commission how about shutting down all the 'data brokers' who have spent the last 20 years illegally stealing our personal data and are carrying on like the law is an inconvenience?

@EU_Commission

Now that you agree that US big-tech are bad, please stop forcing the use of their infrastructure (ios/android) to access critical services (banking, transport, identity) in the EU !

@EU_Commission This is, undoubtfully, a sensible and notewhorty endeavour, much appreciated. That does not exclude this consideration, tho; a fine of around 0,5% of their revenues in 2023 makes no dent and causes no pain, so, why comply in the future, right? It´s waaay more profitable to keep doing what they want and settle later.

@EU_Commission

Pretty pathetic really, and completely ineffective.

How much has Apple made from it's monopoly App Store since 2019 when this review began? And no doubt they will appeal, extending the period of the practices several more years.

Fining wealthy corporations and people is no use. It's a fig leaf to cover impotence or complicity.

@EU_Commission Excellent conclusion! Thank you for holding Apple accountable for its anti-competitive and innovation crushing behavior.

@EU_Commission Probably should be more just to make them uncomfortable.

If it doesn't cut into their pockets enough, they won't take it seriously.

@EU_Commission this would be a more sound decision if it wouldn’t focus on Spotify, a company that should not receive ANY help in its wrongdoings. Better take Qobuz as a guideline of sorts are necessary.
