@tinyrabbit "interesting" is not the criterium for preservation, no. But "relevant" to future work is. And the more useful a chat channel in that regard is, the greater the burden on the ones keeping track of that relevant info.

Note that I have an idea for a (possibly federated) app that might help lighten this burden. Whereby as soon as something interesting passes on some channel you select that text with some plugin UI and fire it off to a collection point with appropriate metadata added, where it can later be reviewed and curated further.
