Arne, if only that was the case!

There is almost always an uphill battle to get a UX improvement made. Not always of course.

Yes, 100%. I am not suggesting that designers take-over or dictate what gets built.

More they get involved in what is being built, and contribute to making *that* usable.

After this...well it gets complicated on what happens next.

This means, realistically, that UX contributors need to contribute code themselves. And for the most part that is not feasible.
