@dansup I always prefer icons in this case. Just add a hover-text if it's not clear by users. Or indeed a more (...) button, with text again if users get lost in the icons.

@dansup I think I like text?

@dansup icons, they are generally more universal.

@dansup Text is easier to figure out β€” new-to-online people might not know what the icons mean

@dansup the reply button seems weird. English is left justified, so you want replies to the left, forwards to the right

@dansup I think both are awful! Put a goddamn border and some depth on those buttons, for fuck's sake!

@dansup No, I'd rather the text

@dansup From an accessibility perspective, both? Icons are not always recognizable

@dansup personally I like the text. The text option seems like it has bigger touch targets.

The icons don't seem to be from the same design language which is definitely part of why I'm not looking the icon option as much

@dansup I use text + icon for the main actions. Icons can be used elsewhere in the UI, to go next to number of shares for example. I design for schools and find that icons alone are often misunderstood (and ignored as a result) πŸ€ͺ

@dansup I agree, the icons look better and they are intuitive.

@dansup Both, but also please right align them so they’re consistently positioned on each comment
