@dalias @ariadne I understand where you are coming from, but I added this during the summer of 2020 when there was a lot of misinformation floating around

I wanted to implement this as an opt-in feature for instances to be able to customize the warning and action not only for this, but also to experiment with sentiment detection with the goal to support community warnings for misinformation, but I never was able to see that through

I was eager to follow bigger platforms like IG in trying to "do something that would be seen as actionable and to get praise" like many platforms did at the time, and looking back, I see how that was wrong.

We need better moderation tools that allow users and admins to have better control and more accountability on admins part to ensure a transparent and trustworthy mod track record that empower users to pick the best home for them
