I've changed quite a few parts on joinmastodon.org/servers today in response to the feedback from the past week. In detail:

You can now filter by region, type of legal entity, and sign-up speed. Added note about why the topics filter exists. Changed tagline.

"Get on waitlist" has become "Apply for an account" for servers that manually review new sign-ups. Removed total user count from cards.

@Gargron How does one submit a server to show up on the list? I got a bunch of requests to "make" mastodon.gamedev.place show up there, but I've no idea how :)

@Gargron will there be cross-server membership? What happens if the server I signed up for goes down (permanently or temporarily?) Would I have to sign up for a new server and start fresh?

Are there any private companies running instances? Because I wouldn't put them under the 'public organization' legal structure, I'd only put non-profits there.

@Gargron I don't see msstodon.social on there if they are full or nit accepting users does it dissappear from that list. Also a search function would be good instead if scrolling. (Unless I'm missing something)
