The projection of a lame fantasy to a future of "abundance, a future where there is no poverty, where you can have whatever you want ", brought to you "charitably" by the richest man in the world, and while he's working on it, us suckers go and buy Tesla shares to help him get richer?

@65dBnoise It's called cheap labor. I remember people laughing about the idea of burger bots replacing workers at fast food joints, but that is a reality now.

Elon’s goal is to build a cheap robot that can replace human factory workers. It's that simple.

Companies would pay for this & while it would not usher in a utopia, it would increase unemployment (at least in the short term).
