@liaizon @darius @ajroach42 yuuuup – A decade ago, my hope was that a grassroots effort that could be sufficiently ahead of regulation would allow de-facto standards like the fact that email doesn't require a license/ToS agreement (!!!!) to take hold before capture/regulatory missteps.

I have hope that because the EU framework has allowances for small players that we can avoid the fate of the PSTN. Definitely not assured, though. 😬
