Hmm, I'm disappointed Dan. Someone criticises you for very reasonable things which is reasons I've not felt safe about Pixelfed.

Even though at least, in terms of server caching remote content, I'm glad Pixelfed is like GoToSocial, Mastonand what now see is the case with Kbin.. not like 'key, 'oma, friendica, lemmy and others that do not have at least enabled by default caching so boom you go to said instance pages with remote content shown and that's your IP and browser meta data just thrown all over the place and it's just bad.

I've always appreciated you, but I can't say I'm not disappointed you've shared a screenshot of Ro's criticism to you. It's asking for people just to pound on them, be racist or whatever when he already constantly has that without people with big followings posting. This ain't cool.

I want to show how, despite the criticism, I am eager and willing to work with him to resolve the issues he identified.

My tone in the post should have made that clear, I said I reached out to someone who may be able to help, and provided the context for that.
