@sturmsucht Jokes aside, when I started following the evolution of #Bonfire, one of the things that caught my attention was how privacy-oriented it was. Like their “circles” option, for instance.
Now it seems that they are increasing the type of “building blocks” available.
Frankly, I’ve been looking for a self-hosted Discord / Slack replacement for a long time and neither Mattermost nor Matrix/Element does what I need (too bad that #Guilded is not self-hosted)
@d1re_w0lf wasn't even joking. When I first heard of bonfire I really got interested! But couldn't get my hands on it. Whatever they are doing now with mosaic, they have my attention! I really need to invest some time into self-hosting.
Looking for a good community solution as well right now. I manage a Matrix group, but honestly: for my use case I still think a good old forum would do the trick (like #flarum). Mosaic seems to be a wonderful combination of things to manage a group!
