🇪🇺 🇬🇧 Today we have reached a political agreement in principle with the UK on a new way forward on the Protocol on Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The ‘Windsor Framework’ will allow us to begin a new chapter that will work for all people and businesses in Northern Ireland, with long-lasting solutions that respond directly to their concerns and protect our respective markets.

Most importantly, it protects the peace gains of the Good Friday Agreement.

We can now build a stronger EU-UK partnership.

@EU_Commission Of course all this could have been avoided if the UK had remained in the EU! What an enormous waste of time and energy sorting out the fallout from Brexit has been. Little England will eventually realize what a horrible mistake they made but it may be too late.
