@darius this is a really great point. i think my main hangup with it though— when there’s a “this instance isn’t big enough for the two of us” scenario, one person needs to make a new account somewhere else, which might be desirable in some situations, but more often the person leaving will be in a more marginalized category, otherwise they’d be the one staying.

@darius exactly. i’m a huge proponent of user customization, so being able to turn on/off features and control themes/skins is important to me and fundamental to how i approach coding
