@darius my twitter archive zip is 3GB. You might better do it as a tool.

@darius I just wanted to say that your express AP project has been a massive boon with trying to write a node lambda version. Thank you for that!

Congrats, Brianna, you just made yourself more reviled than Caitlyn Jenner.

@dansup this exact experience is why I haven’t returned to react native. I largely enjoyed the development experience, but dependency updates broke the app every damn time.

@dansup is it usable against localhost? My big problem is I need automated tests that can tell me when I’m handling things improperly

@darius yes! that's another one where I had to read the damn source code to figure out how to do any kind of telemetry more advanced than their basic examples. The type definitions help a lot, but theres no easy way to just browse a fully resolved type tree.

@dansup a while back I did a case study on dating app UX, where I tried out nearly every popular app on the app store.

Not a single one was without sin in the onboarding. The most common flaw was using the wrong input type for a lot of data (eg, dropdowns for date fields, text fields for numbers, generic input for email, etc)

Theres a balance between taking too much information and too little, and very few walked the line.

@dansup I am so not surprised to see Taylor Ottwell siding with fucking DHH

@dansup could it be distributed, ala gnutella style server chaining?

@feditips @rysiek I’m not thrilled about kbin’s api, it doesn’t appear to actually be activitypub, even tho they call it that. None of the objects even use the activitypub context, it’s their own context built on hydra. It’s really just a json-ld api.

@dansup @Gargron @pixelfed okay but like… when would it ever say anything other than “because you follow this person”?
