@kalleboo is this something that can be bought online at all? Or is it only sold in very specifically targeted gumball machines?

Folks in the know: if I'm building adapters for old joysticks and gamepads and stuff, and an #Arduino Pro Micro clone with a 32U4 is sort of on the edge of what's necessary to handle written-from-scratch high-speed digital comms, does it make sense to instead switch to using a #RaspberryPi Pico? I've never looked at Pi hardware at all, but it looks super inexpensive and magnitudes more powerful, so at first glance I'd spend less time worrying about working around limitations. Thoughts?

Hey mastadonia- I miss having some like-minded strangers to share thoughts with these days but can鈥檛 bring myself to use another Meta platform. I鈥檝e been on mastodon since the great Elonification of Twitter but struggling to find my community here. if you鈥檙e seeing this, share your best suggestions for how I can find my community here. I鈥檓 a 馃嚚馃嚘 disabled science/health/disability wonk, work in non profit and love knitting, dogs, and adapted mountain biking (aMTB).

OK here's a full photo set for my latest keyboard, the short-lived Ficherman 0.1. This was a keyboard used with my automation system at my microfiche scanning job at the internet archive.
(I hate photographing shiny PCBs. They make the autofocus of my camera all confuzeled.)

Please, dear #Retrocomputer people!
I would really love to spread your #Pixelart, pictures from your game projects, #Chiptune music and all the other cool stuff you make.
Please remember to add media descriptions to your uploads, to make your posts accessible.
