@Gargron Allow it by default on public posts, and handle abuse with current moderation tools.

(Sort of obvious but don’t allow on any non-public timeline posts.)

A camera that you plug into your computer. Like the camera itself, not some puny cable.

Yes, the whole camera goes into the computer because it is a camera and PC card!

Toshiba PDR-2, 0.3MP from 1997. Shown with a IBM ThinkPad 760XL.

Every time I post about LLMs being useless (because they can't think) people reply with "but it works for me".

No, it doesn't work for you. That's the point.

You can't know when it's lying or being subtly wrong, unless you do the work yourself to research if what it's saying is actually correct.

If you say "I always check" why use the LLM in the first place? Now it's double the work. (Of course no one actually does the checking, they only say they do.)

Needed to rename some files based on a FITS header inside the files (FITS is a format for raw astronomical images), on Windows.

The easiest solution was…

… to install a whole other operating system into Windows (Ubuntu Linux) for access to basic UNIX utilities.

The future is weird.

Still working on Markarian’s Chain, a galaxy cluster in Virgo.

First image shows two of the larger galaxies, “The Eyes”.

The second image shows very faint Hydrogen alpha emissions—which are just about starting to be visible after 20h+ of exposure time.

@Gargron Great! I hope you guys can get to it soon, these features are desperately needed.

I’m also looking forward to the UI/UX improvements you mentioned!
