As you can see, you're only addressing the tags as #labels following a post, whilst most folks tend to #hashtag their #articles inline as they type out their posts.

Having a facility to integrate those two methods is of great benefit and note that in my example not all #tags are duplicates between the two methods of presenting them.

Perhaps due to my own ineptitude at wrapping gifts, one of my fav techniques is to drop the gifts into a grocery sack, drop that bundle into another grocery sack, and use that indestructible fibrous tape to tightly bundle up the sack with a ridiculous amount of wraps of the tape.

You literally cannot rip open the gift-wrapping with your bare hands - you must enlist the aid of a pair of scissors and even then it's a bit of effort.
Unwrapping is fun again!

It actually stands to reason; people often find after they publish a poll that they could have worded a question or option better, then try, then discover that the meaning of the question or option now takes on a new defining intent - that's unacceptable manipulation, whether intentional or not.

When you start a DM, #Mitra won't let you add/remove addressees; last time I checked, mastodon will - it shouldn't that's a potential breech of privacy & security.

That was IMO, a grave error on your part - conflating mastodon with #Fediverse and without one single utterance of the word "Fediverse" throughout.

It served to cause much of this confusion on the part of n00bs and as a result, now jeopardizes your trademark.

Fact: There's no such thing as a mastodon network. Only the #ActivityPub powered Fediverse
