Well, I'm definitely saving my spot and keeping an eye on this fantastic project 😄 My main reasons of why I'm still using Mastodon as my primary Fediverse home for now are:
1) Username limitations. sliverlightandskin is too long for the signup, and I'd like to keep my handles uniform. That's why I'm not that active as @silverandskin
2) A user-set option to automatically show NSFW posts is not implemented (yet?)
So yeah, still hyped for this project and wish for it to succeed 🥳

While I totally get where you're coming from, I think it's highly critical to allow puritanical zealots to bully you into such a change via report-bombing... As is, NSFW posts are already hidden/blurred by default, w/o any chance for personal preference. If that also rustles the jimmies of those zealots, EVERYTHING will.
You can't win against them unless you completely submit to their demands.
