@dansup It seems like Opt-In might be a nice middle ground between full openness and full blocking. Was there something that prompted you to go down this route? Was it Threads opting for Opt-In?

Thank you for the clarification. I appreciate your thoughtfulness about this and your willingness to change your mind. I am not on one side or the other about all this. I feel like Activity Pub has created enough safeguards that if Threads gets too out of hand, they can easily be isolated.
