@darius Before I read the Github thread which contains the rationale, please let me ask why you've done it this way, because I have some alternatives to propose.

@darius @ja2ke I am indeed struggling with how to get alt text into @1994clipart, and yeah, initial tests with AI captioning was...not promising. That said, if you have requests for high-def versions of specific clip art, I can make those...I just haven't set up a bot to do it systematically (yet?).

@darius @captbaritone My initial solution for @1994clipart was to crowdsource it, e.g. have a separate feed/site where people could reply with the alt text they wanted, and the bot would grab that. But (1) I wasn’t sure I trusted the wisdom of the crowd, and (2) I wanted to have some fun myself.
