Completely understand why you'd consider that given the huge amount of time you've put into it, but I agree with others that keeping it open source will encourage others to contribute to its development. Having a proprietary version may also make some feel they are getting an inferior product simply for their support for open source software. I hope there are other things you can consider to compensate you for your hard work than a proprietary app.
