@workingclasshistory Odd that they never taught us this in school. [Note: sarcasm used here. In Texas of the 1980s they taught us next to nothing about slavery, and certainly nothing about uprisings or resistance. I didn't learn about the Nueces Massacre or the clear pro-slavery statements of the Texas Declaration of Causes until years later.]

The key differences with current platforms should be 1) they will offer users options with transparency, and 2) algorithms will be to the user's benefit and not be built around the goal of offering users up to advertisers.
