@dansup @pixelfed I’ve been meaning to write up a short review of the Pixelfed app, but don’t want to sound critical (because it’s a good thing to have!) but maybe I’ll write up my thoughts.

@dansup @binarytango Does anyone else (besides me) think allowing hashtags to start with numbers would be a good thing?

Is there a legitimate reason to not allow it?

@dansup Sorry, to be more clear I should have said "hashtags that *start* with a number" specifically I guess.

So I cannot use #1972 as a hashtag... how might I use an alternative? Something like #year1927 though that seems very unobvious from a user perspective.
