@feditips I don't see the harm. I also verify myself through my own blog. If people want assurance that I am the verified @palafo pre-Elon from Twitter, that's really all that list is offering. Not everyone has a blog or a site these days. If my employer figures out a way to verify me, I'll switch to that.

@darius He seems to have been on mstdn.social. I wonder if @stux has issues with the accuracy of his account. I suspect something could be omitted. This instance has seemed fairly no-drama so far.

@Gargron Excellent logic. Quote replies are the worst. People will screen-shot them and so on, but there's no reason to make it so easy and normalized.
