Actually just remembered this movie and I was gonna show it to my kids ... holy crap ... we were apparently much more hardcore in the '80's than I'm willing to force my kids to be. :-D Thanks for the look back!

Absolutely LOVE this idea. Sadly I don't have any recommendations as I'm not a carpenter nor an electronics engineer. I'm an IT nerd, have you tried turning it off and on again? That's all i got. :-D Again though, this is a brilliant idea. I'm also a Gen Xer and I have Arcade marquees hanging in my office. Your idea definitely takes it to the next level. Good luck and I'm excited to see what you make of this. I have done small amounts of soldering and it is quite easy, you can literally watch a how to video and learn it. Sharing this around to handy folks I know to see if they can make suggestions.
