@feditips wow! That took like two days to begin centralising the decentralised network!! People don't get that the internet was a better place because it was completely decentralised two decades ago until some big names started making it their backyard.

@Gargron I look at quote-posts as preview of the post. That's, just how you can preview image and title and part of description of a web page, quote posts could be same to save that additional visit.

@Gargron exactly. If all what people want is another Twitter then they would definitely not be able to accommodate the differences of a single proprietary network v. a decentralised one.

@Gargron one point seems to confuse new comers; Attempting to see profiles of users from other instances could lead to no posts although posts count show a number. What is the possibility mastodon instance would implement a sequence to fetch posts from remote instance, if it doesn't have any posts to show when the profile stats assert posts exist?
